Dental Bridges
Dental bridges are one of the options we offer to patients who want to fill a gap left behind after losing a tooth. A bridge is a floating false tooth that is connected onto a real, natural tooth or teeth. The floating tooth can be “adhesive”- which means it is glued to the back of the real tooth with a metal or ceramic wing which is out of sight. The floating tooth may also be supported by placing a cap (crown) on the natural tooth or teeth beside the gap.
A dental implant is another, often preferable, option for filling a space.
