Dental Implants
Dental implants are becoming a more common way of replacing a missing tooth or teeth, supporting a denture rigidly, or for full mouth rehabilitation.
They are basically titanium fixtures (same metal as that used for hip replacements) which are placed in the jaw bone
(sounds horrific- but routinely done these days with a local anaesthetic and no more unpleasant than a filling. I have had two placed myself)
Intra venous sedation can be offered where medically acceptable.
